Cyrene Harding is an Author, Photographer, and Biologist based in Illinois and working wherever nature calls her.

Cyrene is a writer and photographer with a background in wildlife biology living in northern Illinois with her horde of furry and scaly babies (thirteen in total). Each and every one a rescue! It can definitely be a challenge with a house full of rescue critters, but it’s certainly never boring.

Cyrene has been doing photography since she was old enough to hold a camera, but professionally for over a decade. She has previously worked as a portrait photographer and an environmental photojournalist and now focuses on nature and wildlife. She’s also been a writer since she was a kid, drafting stories for her friends in her messy handwriting.

In her spare time, she enjoys all things outdoors—hiking, camping, scuba diving among them—and constantly learning new (and mostly useless) information about whatever random subject that’s caught her attention.
